This Smoked Pumpkin Pie
recipe is too sweet to pass up! We take this traditional holiday dessert up a
few notches by giving it a subtle smokey taste. Using only seven ingredients and 10
minutes of prep time, you can make a creamy and delicious pumpkin-filled pie
directly on your Pit Boss grill. Your fork won’t stop after just one slice of this
bourbon-infused pie with golden flaky crust.
Fire up your Pit Boss pellet grill to SMOKE and let it
run with lid open for 10 minutes then preheat to 400 F.
Line the pie pan with the pie crust and gently press into the corners. Fold the edges of the crust over the top of the pie pan. Cut off any excess crust.
In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, except for the eggs.
Once well mixed, add the eggs and whisk until just combined.
Pour the pie mixture into the pie pan.
Place on the smoker for 15 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 350 and continue baking for 30-45 minutes or until the center of the pie is fully set.
Allow to cool on a rack for 2 hours before cutting and enjoying!
Tip:
Beat
eggs before adding into pie filling for ease of mixing.
